PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling temperature of a midnight electric boiler are provided to improve the durability of an electric device and to reduce the deviation of temperatures by individually controlling heat sources. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling temperature of a midnight electric boiler comprises the steps of: sensing present temperature using plural temperature sensors(S301); comparing the sensed temperature with a reference temperature(S302); turning on a first heat source if the sensed temperature is lower than the reference temperature(S303); deciding if entire heat sources are turned on(S305); sequentially turning on the heat sources at a specific time interval(S306); sensing present temperature using the temperature sensors if the entire heat sources are turned on(S307); deciding if the sensed temperature is over the reference temperature(S308); and sequentially turning off the heat sources at a specific time interval(S309).
