PURPOSE: A seat cushion folding apparatus of a seat for a vehicle is provided to fold or unfold a seat conveniently by pushing a seat cushion up, and to reduce noise by fixing the folded seat firmly with a locking member. CONSTITUTION: A seat cushion folding device of a vehicle is composed of a vehicle body bracket(11) fixed in the vehicle body; a seat bracket(13) fixed in the lower part of a seat cushion(6), and combined with the vehicle body bracket to turn; and a locking unit preventing turning of the seat bracket to fix the completely folded seat cushion. An arc guide hole(12) is formed in the vehicle body bracket. The locking unit consists of a supporting rod(14) combined with the seat bracket and the guide hole of the vehicle body bracket and moved along the guide hole in turning the seat bracket, and a spring(16) supporting the supporting rod elastically to prevent turning of the sat bracket in folding or unfolding the seat completely. The seat cushion is folded conveniently with pushing up the seat cushion simply, and noise is prevented with fixing the folded seat cushion completely by the supporting rod of the locking unit.
