PURPOSE: A nonlinear magnetic sensor structure is provided to improve the reliability of a system which is installed on a sheet and searches a line of magnetic force on earth. CONSTITUTION: Co, Fe, B, and Si elements having degree of purity over 99.99% are composed so as to have a raw powder having a content of Co(95-x)Fe5(BSi)x. The raw powder is heated and liquefied over 1500 deg.C. A resultant substance is dropped and quenched on a rotation wheel, so that a ribbon-type substance having a thickness of 20 micrometers and a width of 5 millimeters is made. Annealing is performed for 1-90 minutes under the conditions of 250-480 deg.C, 0.3-10 Oe magnetic field, and CO2 atmosphere, in order to magnify magnetic anisotropy. Annealing is performed for 1-90 minutes under the conditions of 300-400 deg.C and CO2 atmosphere, thus realizing a step-type hysteresis.
