摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing structure for a rotary shaft and an electric motor having the bearing structure for the rotary shaft applied thereto, providing easy and inexpensive manufacturing and assembly of components and capable of securing predetermined durability in a state properly corresponding to a thrust load without enlarging a diameter of the rotary shaft. SOLUTION: In a geared motor, a radial load of an armature shaft 16 is supported by a metal ring 20 and its thrust load is supported by a thrust ball 32 held in a holding hole 24. Since an inner diameter of the holding hole 24 is larger than a diameter of the armature shaft 16, a diameter of the thrust ball 32 can be enlarged in correspondence to the thrust load irrelevantly to a diameter size of the armature shaft 16 and the predetermined durability can be secured. Since there is no need to provide a holding part of the thrust ball 32 in a tip of the armature shaft 16, manufacturing and assembly is easy and inexpensive.
