PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system which takes situations of each retail store into account and creates information needed by each customer on the spot. SOLUTION: A sales promotional material creating device 1 layouts an advertisement image data of a product and a symbol image data which shows reference information for the information related to the product and prints them as a promotional material. The consumer takes the promotional material to the store, which is scanned with a scanner 31. An information processing part 32 provides the customer with related information by using the reference information embedded in the symbol image data on the promotional material.
