PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an auction system by which a purchaser can purchase merchandise inexpensively and can avoid suffering a loss in spite of purchasing the merchandise at an early stage. SOLUTION: An inviting means 33 in an intermediation center system 32 presents information on auction merchandise to a home page on the Internet 01 and invites application for purchase and application for sales with respect to it. A reception means 34 receives purchase information and sales information respectively from a purchase applicant terminal 11 and a sales applicant terminal 21 through the Internet 01, displays them in the home page and stores it in an auction information database 41. A selling/buying negotiation means 35 detects a condition for forming selling/buying the database 41. A selling/buying intermediation means 36 informs both of the terminal 11 and the terminal 21 of the formation of selling/buying, and a balance (price) and returns it from a selling side to a purchasing side by a balance return means 37. |
