PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent information (contents) on a product or a service (the product, etc., hereafter) from becoming obsolescence and to prevent the increase of a different between information quantities which can be obtained from being increased due to the retrieving ability difference between purchasers seeking the information on the product, etc., by eliminating faults occurring in the case of cooperating a computer system by the difference of code systems existing between a provider and the purchaser to eliminate the restriction of joining to the purchaser and the provider as an open system. SOLUTION: In the method for intermediating the electronic transaction of the product or service between plural providers and purchasers through a digital data communication network, (a) a standard code system for showing the correspondence between a sorting code system on a provider side showing the product or service of the provider and a sorting code system on a purchaser side is stored in advance; (b) an intermediator code-converts the transacting contents of the product or service of the provider to be presented to the purchaser to this sorting code system of the purchaser to present the converted code to the purchaser; (c) the intermediator code- converts the transacting contents of the product or service to be purchased by the purchaser to the sorting code system of the provider of this product or service and presents it to this provider. |
