PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a language conversion mediating method and a language conversion mediation processor, which can simultaneously satisfy a need for easily requesting the language conversion of interpretation and translation and a need for easily performing the language conversion of interpretation and transportation and to provide a computer readable recording medium. SOLUTION: An interpretation mediation processor C is connected to the portable telephone (a) of an interpretation requester A and the portable telephone (b) of an interpreter B through a network. The interpretation mediation processor C previously stores information on the interpreter B and specifies one or a plurality of interpreters B adapted to the request when interpretation is requested from the portable telephone (a) of the interpretation requester A. Language conversion is requested from the portable telephone (b) of the interpreter specified as the interpreter B. One interpreter (B) approving the request first is selected and the portable telephone (b) of the selected interpreter B is connected to the portable telephone (a) of the interpretation requester A.
