<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system capable of generating an impressive and fancy image of a moving object by performing the image direction of the moving object, and to provide a program and an information storage medium. SOLUTION: In the game system to perform image generation, a display model deformation processing part 114 performs processing for deforming the form of a display model of an object on the basis of the advancing direction of the object moving relatively to a virtual camera and at least either one of the position or the direction of the virtual camera with respect to the object. The form of the display model may be deformed by dynamically changing the form the display model and also may be deformed by selecting an optimum deformation model among a plurality of preliminarily prepared deformation models for the display model. The number and forms of flare objects to be attached may also be changed.</p> |
