PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for taping an electronic component which can decrease a space for storing by increasing the number of stacking the reels and can increase the number of mounted pieces per reel without increasing the size of a mounting apparatus. SOLUTION: The reel 1 for taping the electronic component is provided with a core part 1b on which the tape 2 is wound, and a flange part 1a which is formed only on one end face in the axial direction of the core part 1b and is brought into contact with one side end face 2a of the tape 2.
