PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a capacity and a weight from increasing to the utmost, when providing a measuring function in a cellular phone. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal 100 starts up a camera in measuring a length, when a measure 100A is pulled out from the mobile terminal. The started-up camera scans a scale for the length measurement marked in the pulled-out measure. The mobile terminal 100 calculates a length by counting the scanned scale. The mobile terminal 100 starts up the camera in measuring a weight, when the measure 100A is pulled out from the mobile terminal. The started-up camera scans a scale for the weight measurement marked in the pulled-out measure. The mobile terminal 100 calculates the weight by counting the scanned scale.
