摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality diagnosis method and an abnormality diagnosis apparatus for precisely diagnosing the existence or the absence of abnormality in a rolling device in a rotary machine. SOLUTION: After an acoustic signal detected by a piezoelectric sensor 101 is digitalized by an A/D converter 105 and is passed through a high-pass filter 108, it is amplitude demodulated by an FIR (finite impulse response) digital filter which is a Hilbert converter of an envelope processing part 109, and is processed with an envelope processing. This is converted into a frequency spectrum by an FFT (fast Fourier transform) processing at a frequency analysis part 111. The discrete value of the frequency spectrum is processed with an interpolation processing by a frequency spectrum interpolation processing part 112, and is inputted into an abnormality determination part 113 for a flaw or the like. The abnormality determination part 113 compares the frequency at the peak of the frequency spectrum processed by the interpolation processing with an abnormality characteristic frequency such as the flaw or the like calculated by the rotational velocity of the rolling device and a constant proper to the rolling device, at a characteristic frequency calculation part 121, and determines the abnormality according to the existence or the absence of the matching.
