<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience in adjustment of setting states of vehicle facilities and user registration, and improve security performance at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: In a remote control 1, fingerprint data of a sub-user can be registered only when personal authentication is met by input of registered fingerprint data of a main user. The remote control 1 makes smart key functions effective in accordance with input of fingerprint of a registered user, and recognizes the user as a permitted user. The remote control 1 sends back a response signal including terminal ID information and personal information for identifying the permitted user. A control system 3 at the vehicle 2 executes a procedure to unlock at least a vehicle door lock mechanism only in a case where the received terminal ID information coincides with collation ID information that is preliminarily registered, and a procedure to change the setting state of the vehicle facility of the own vehicle into setting states recorded as corresponding to the received personal information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
