PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming toner which suppresses filming on an electrostatic charge image carrier, etc., even when mechanical and thermal loads are put in an actual machine, is excellent in anti-hot offsetting property and can be used over a long period of time and to provide an image forming method and an image forming apparatus each using the toner. SOLUTION: The image forming toner is an electrostatic charge image developing toner containing at least bonding resins and a release agent. The surface friction coefficient of the toner when pressed in a plate shape is 0.20-0.40, the volume average particle diameter (D4) of the toner is 4-7.5 μm and the toner contains 60-80% by number of particles of <=5 μm and contains at least one selected from carnauba wax, montan wax and oxidized rice wax as the release agent and a nonlinear polymer resin (A), a linear polymer resin (B) and a hybrid resin (C) as the bonding resins. All the resins (A), (B) and (C) preferably contain at least the same polymer unit. |
