PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotative filter for purifying polluted water which separates water and a polluted substance from polluted water easily to efficiently recover using a flocculant. SOLUTION: A mesh filter is installed on the surface of a cylindrical frame 20 consisting of circular edge face aggregates 21,22 which are oppositely arranged and a transom 24. A circular drainage opening 15 is equipped at the center of one side of the end edge aggregate, and a gear 11 to mesh with a chain-belt for rotation driving is equipped at the center of the edge face aggregate in the opposite side against the drainage opening. Water permeated from the mesh filter can be discharged to the outside from the drainage opening 15 and since the suspended substance precipitated by the flocculant adheres to the surface of the mesh filter, it can be scraped with an appropriate means. The purification ability per unit time can be enhanced because the recover of water and the removal of the suspended substance can be carried out simultaneously. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
