PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a dose of radiation emitted within a prescribed period of time with a higher precision. SOLUTION: The control device for a radiotherapy system is equipped with a timing control part 102 for determining a diagnostic X-ray emitting period and a therapeutic radiation emitting period in a manner not to overlap mutually, a part 103 for collecting characteristics of a diseased area for computing the characteristics of a subject 43 for captured images of the subject 43 captured by diagnostic radiation 35, 36 emitted in the diagnostic X-ray emitting period, and a radiation irradiation part 109 for emitting therapeutic radiation 23 by using a therapeutic radiation emitting device 16 during the therapeutic radiation emitting period. Then, the radiation irradiation part 109 alters the dose per unit time of the therapeutic radiation 23 within one period of the therapeutic radiation emitting periods from the characteristics. The control device 2 for a radiotherapy system enables the emission of the therapeutic radiation 23 of a prescribed dose within a prescribed period of time including the diagnostic X-ray emitting period and the therapeutic radiation emitting period by increasing or reducing the dose per unit time.
