PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for diagnosing an illness of a subject by acquiring information relating to a characteristic physiological state generated when loading contents on the patient of a specified illness and using such information relating to the physiological state. SOLUTION: The method for diagnosing the illness comprises: a process of providing the patient of the illness to be a diagnostic object with contents and preparing illness-physiological state information acquired relating to the characteristic physiological state which appears in the patient when the contents are loaded; a process of providing the subject with the contents and acquiring subject physiological state information relating to the physiological state which appears in the subject when the contents are loaded; and a process of judging whether or not the subject is ill on the basis of the illness-physiological state information and the subject physiological state information.
