A method for determination of sinter ability and caking capacity of coal and charge coals, according to which several samples are prepared from the coal (charge coal) and the filling agent, at least one assay is formed from each sample, the assays are heated, aged till formation of sintered remainders (the samples of coal char), the obtained assays of coal char are cooled to the room temperature, and the testing of mechanical shear strength of the assays of coal char is realized, the sinter ability and caking capacity of coal and charge coals is determined from the mechanical strength of the assays of coal char. During the formation of the assay, the compression of coal (coal char) is realized. |
