<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid treatment apparatus which can accurately grasp the critical point of pH and optimally control intermittent aeration treatment. <P>SOLUTION: The waste liquid treatment apparatus for treating nitrogen-containing organic waste liquid by an intermittent aeration activated sludge process repeating aerobic microorganism treatment and anaerobic microorganism treatment in a single treatment tank is provided with a bubbling blower 4 removing carbon dioxide gas dissolved in the nitrogen-containing organic waste liquid before treatment by the intermittent aeration activated sludge process.
