<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery unit having a fan device for efficiently conducting replacement work of a filter. <P>SOLUTION: The battery unit 14 has a battery case 50. A first exhaust port 555 arranged at a right end part 52e in the vehicle width direction when mounted on a vehicle body 11, and a second exhaust port 556 arranged at a left end part 52f and larger than the first exhaust port 555 are formed in an upper wall part 52d of the battery case 50. The exhaust fan 551 is arranged in a position approached to the right end part 52e on the top surface 52g of the battery case 50. A fan cover 552 and an exhaust duct 560 having the exhaust fan 551 and a duct opening 571 covering the first and second exhaust ports 555, 556 and exhausting exhaust gas exhausted from the exhaust fan 551 to the outside are installed in the upper wall part 52d.
