A dynamic vibration absorber is provided to reduce amplitude generated in wide frequency bands of a vibration reduction object by controlling the inserting amount of a rubber plate being inserted into a space part between the vibration reduction object and a mass. A dynamic vibration absorber comprises a drive motor(40) installed at a mounting unit separately from a mass(10). A rubber plate(51) of a fan shape is mounted on a driving shaft of the drive motor. A space part(61) corresponding to the rotation radius of the rubber plate is formed between a vibration reduction object and the mass. A vibration absorbing member(20) is made of rubber material and has a disc shape. The rubber plate has the thickness corresponding to the vibration absorbing member.
