A method for controlling stall oscillation of a hybrid vehicle is provided to prevent burning of an engine clutch by applying a temperature limit value distinctively according the stall oscillation. A method for controlling stall oscillation of a hybrid vehicle comprise the following steps of: inputting a location of an accelerator position sensor and the location of a break of the hybrid vehicle(ST100); calculating residual life of an engine clutch in case a state of the hybrid vehicle is confirmed as a stall state through input information(ST200); and applying a residual life value based on the residual life of the engine clutch(ST300).
