<p>production of materials for means of individual protection. SUBSTANCE: the claimed punctureproof material consists of a carrier coated with solid particles applied onto a pile of cloth. The coating on the carrier consists of abrasive particles, having a diameter within 0.1 to 0.3 mm, hardness of at least 8 numbers according to the Mohs' scratch hardness number, the thickness of the pile of cloth exceeds 1.5 mm. The material for abrasive particles is selected from the group including silicon carbide, titanium carbide, aluminum oxide, tungsten carbide, titanium nitride and silicon nitride. Abrasive particles are applied by adhesive, which after hardening forms a flexible, elastic film. Use is made of bituminous cement or adhesive based on polyurethane. The carrier may be made of aramide or nylon cloth. To form a better bonding between the abrasive particles and adhesive, the aramide cloth should be woven of fibers, from which lubricants and repellants have been preliminarily removed. The coated carrier practically lies freely on a pile consisting of more than ten layers of aramide cloth or nylon cloth in those places where protection against knife stabs is needed. The material may be enclosed in polyester upholstery material. Punctureproof protective clothing may be made of it.
