piston link machine

A piston link machine has a body with working cylinders placed in radial positions with respect to drive shaft and in opposite positions one with respect to another. On the crank of the shaft a slide is installed, this is placed inside the link that is rigidly connected to opposite pistons. At the end walls of the slide valves are installed. Cavities placed near the end walls of the slide are connected to each other with channels and by means of the other channels are connected to the inner spaces of opposite pistons and form together with those common chamber of intermediate pressure. Such implementation makes it possible to increase economy and to improve mass-dimension characteristics of the machine.
