FUEL CELL SYSTEM AND MAXIMUM POWER CALCULATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of reducing a calculation error of maximum output that a fuel cell can output.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system comprises: a fuel cell 40 to which a reaction gas is supplied and which generates power; output property update means for updating output properties of the fuel cell 40 on the basis of an output current and an output voltage which are measured by a current sensor 140 and a voltage sensor 150; maximum power calculation means for calculating the maximum output that can be outputted in the fuel cell 40, using the output properties; and determination means for determining whether the system is under an estimated situation where it is estimated that values of output properties are reduced temporarily. While the determination means determines that the system is under the estimated situation, the maximum power calculation means calculates the maximum power using the output properties which are updated by the output property update means just before the system shifts under the estimated situation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
