PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for properly correcting a lens position according to the attitude change of a lens barrel.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes moving means for moving a moving lens on the basis of a predetermined movement condition, driving means for driving the attitude of the lens barrel on the basis of a predetermined drive condition, determination means for determining the gravitational direction acting on the lens barrel, and correction means for correcting the movement condition.
