PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof relay having an excellent waterproof function, and ensuring good adhesion of a metal terminal and a base, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: In a waterproof relay, an adhesion layer composed of a chlorosulfonated polyethylene composition is formed at a part of a metal terminal converted with thermoplastic resin before injection molding. At the time of injection molding, a molten resin is made to adhere to the adhesion layer, and since the metal terminal and thermoplastic resin are made to adhere well via the adhesion layer, no gap is formed between the metal terminal and the base formed of the thermoplastic resin, even after long-term use.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
