PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt-like tension member for use in reinforcement soil, which can obtain a frictional resistance force equal to or greater than that of a belt-like steel tension member.SOLUTION: A belt-like tension member includes a belt part 11, and a plurality of nipping belts 12 that are flatly formed at intervals on a surface of the belt part 11.
