PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a drive circuit for a display device capable of achieving low power consumption and the reduction of a bezel width, and a display device.SOLUTION: The drive circuit for a display device includes a shift register part (10) for sequentially outputting a pulse in each gate line to be activated according to an external clock, and gate driver parts (20) of a plurality of stages for respectively driving a plurality of gate lines in response to the external clock and a pulse outputted from a shift register. The shift register part shares one shift register to a gate driver part corresponding to two or more continuous gate lines, one shift register outputs pulses over a first activation period corresponding to a period for activating two or more gate lines, and respective gate driver parts activate their own gate lines during an individual activation period specified by an individual clock signal having the same cycle and a different phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
