PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of automatically triggering an intraoral X-ray sensor using sub-sampling of a pixel array.SOLUTION: An intraoral sensor 20 includes a pixel array. The pixel array includes a plurality of pixel lines. Each of the pixels generates an electric signal correlated with X-ray emission incident on the pixels. An electronic control unit is connected to the intraoral sensor so as to receive the electric signal from the pixel array and destructively reads pixel clusters in one or more of the plurality of pixel lines. Each of the pixel clusters is positioned in the periphery of the pixel array. The electronic control unit is configured to generate a dosage correlation signal on the basis of the signal from each of the pixel clusters in one or each of the plurality of pixel lines, and start taking-in of the image generated with each information from the pixels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
