PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering assist system capable of suppressing a force, which increases an absolute value of a tire angle and is applied to a steering system, when the absolute value of the tire angle gets larger.SOLUTION: A dq converter 54 uses a phase control angle θc to convert currents iu, iv, and iw, which flow into a motor, into currents id and iq on d and q axes. A current feedback control unit 60 or 62 calculates a command voltage vd* or vq* as a manipulation quantity, which is used to perform feedback control on the current id or iq so as to produce a command current id* or iq*. A uvw converter 64 converts command voltages vd* and vq* into command voltages of three phases vu*, vv*, and vw*. When an absolute value of a tire angle θt becomes equal to or larger than a specified value, if a rotation angle θm is updated, an angle manipulation processing unit 70 fixes the phase control angle θc.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
