PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conduit line which can absorb thermal expansion and contraction of a cable therein and can inhibit application of a local load to the cable, and a method of installing the cable.SOLUTION: A conduit line in which a cable is inserted has: a low bottom part disposed at a prescribed position in the vertical direction; a high bottom part separated from the low bottom part in the axial direction and disposed at a higher position in the vertical direction than the low bottom part; and an inclining bottom part disposed between the low bottom part and the high bottom part such that the bottom face inclines continuously in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
