PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for starting a power supply circuit to generate a predetermined level of output voltage, and suppress the power consumption of the power supply circuit.SOLUTION: A power supply circuit 2 includes: a first error amplification section 3b for amplifying a voltage difference between an output voltage Vout and a reference voltage Vref to output an error voltage Veb; a second error amplification section 3a adapted to consume more power and output an error voltage Vea faster than the first error amplification section 3b; a voltage generation section 4 for generating a level of output voltage Vout determined on the basis of the reference voltage Vref from an input voltage Vin on the basis of the error voltages Veb, Vea; and a switching section 5 for, when an instruction signal EN indicating that the power supply circuit 2 should be started is input, causing the second error amplification section 3a to output the error voltage Vea until the output voltage Vout reaches a first level Vth, and after the output voltage Vout reaches the first level Vth, causing the first error amplification section 3b to output the error voltage Veb. |
