PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of easily performing editing work by holding layout information and format information even in the case of converting a document page generated by overlay processing into a format editable on a WWW browser screen.SOLUTION: A document generation server 101 generates a document page by performing an overlay output of form information and field data of a document. The document generation server 101 generates attribute information showing a field attribute of the document, and converts the document page into an editable document page.
