PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit that can suppress an optical influence due to deflection of an imaging element caused by a change in temperature without adding members.SOLUTION: An imaging unit 10 comprises: an imaging element 11 that includes an imaging element chip 15 accommodated in a housing 14; a holding member (12) to which the imaging element 11 is attached; and a plurality of fixing members 18 that fix the imaging element 11 and holding member. In the imaging element 11, when a direction where one side of an imaging surface 13 formed by the imaging element chip 15 extends is an extension direction Ds, the extension direction Ds is inclined with respect to the same straight lines (s1 and s2) on which three or more fixing members 18 are aligned.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
