PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a first model of an alarm that includes a large capacitor and outputs voice and a second model of an alarm that does not include a large capacitor to run the same processing program and operate properly.SOLUTION: In an adjustment mode in a manufacturing process, a personal computer and an alarm communicate with each other. The personal computer takes in power outage monitoring voltage at a power supply circuit in the alarm as model information. The personal computer identifies a model of the alarm from the power outage monitoring voltage. The personal computer writes an identification code corresponding to the model information into an EEPROM in the alarm. The alarm reads out the identification code in the EEPROM, and performs processing corresponding to the identification code.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
