PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merging candidate list sharing method and a device using the same.SOLUTION: A method for generating a merging candidate list for a prediction block comprises the steps to: calculate at least one merging candidate, from a spatial merging candidate and a temporal merging candidate of the prediction block subject to a parallel merge process, with reference to an encoding block including the prediction block; and generate a single merging candidate list with respect to the encoding block on the basis of the calculated merging candidate. The merging candidate list generation method increases a processing speed to encode or decode by executing inter-screen prediction in parallel with a plurality of prediction blocks.SELECTED DRAWING: None
