SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of adjusting width between two supporting railings located along straight-line conveyor, first locking member gets into engagement with corresponding mating member, thus providing locking of supporting railing in position, and second locking member is used which is turned through quarter of turn to release first locking member, after which first locking member can be set in new position on corresponding mating member. Device for adjusting width between two supporting railings located along straight-line conveyor has first locking member coming into engageable with corresponding mating member arranged to making supporting railing mounted on mating member or on first locking member occupy fixed position. Device has second locking member furnished with common shaft with first locking member. Second locking member is installed for turning through quarter of turn relative to first locking member for releasing the device. Proposed method and device ensure quick adjustment of width between two supporting railings. EFFECT: increased efficiency, provision of reliable operation, simple design. 5 cl, 3 dwg |
