PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the operation for reserving the video recording of a broadcast program to an information recording medium by an information recording device being complicated and conducted often correctly. SOLUTION: On the information recording medium, recording information can be recorded once or repeatedly in specific recording format, and the medium has a data area 23, where the recording information is recorded and a read-in area 22, where a control data area having information needed for reproduction control over recording information is recorded; and reservation information for reserving and recording a specific broadcast program which has previously been recorded in the control data area, so that overwrite is disabled. This information recording medium is combined with the information recording device, which reads the reservation information from among the information recording medium and automatically enters reservation standby state and then video recording can be reserved, by only inserting the information recording medium into the information recording device. |
