<p>The machine has chassis in the form of an inverted U which straddles the vines and is carried by three motor driven wheels situated on the outside of the sides of the chassis. Two of the wheels are in tandem on one side and these are steerable. The third wheel is a stabiliser and is situated on the other side equidistant from the first two wheels. Each wheel is driven individually by an integrally mounted hydraulic motor and one hydraulic pump is provided for the motors on each side, both pumps being driven by one engine situated between the two steerable wheels.</p> |
