METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR GPS TIME SYNCHRONIZATION USING CELLULAR SIGNAL BURST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a device for time synchronization of all global positioning system(GPS) receivers and a corresponding method. SOLUTION: By this method, the clock of a GPS receiver can be used to synchronize the clock of the GPS receiver with a GPS system time by supplying a hardware trigger pulse for synchronizing a device with a general reference standard on the basis of a cellular communication signal. Consequently, all internal delays are evaded when time synchronism information is supplied to a clock component of the GPS receiver and in a weak GPS signal state, GPS time recovery of precision exceeding about 10 microseconds becomes possible.
