PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device for remote control, capable of suppressing consumption of an internal power source in its storage by suppressing the consumption of the internal power source as much as possible in receiving a noise signal. SOLUTION: When a portable device 11 is stored so as to be standing still in a house, etc., without being used, a vibration sensor 15 does not sense the changes in the state of the device 11, and the state of interrupting of supplying power from a battery 19 to a receiving circuit 12 remains. When the sensor detects the change in the state of the device 11, the supply of power from the battery 19 to the circuit 12 is allowed. During the time of standby status for a request signal, if a noise signal which is not a request signal is received for a prescribed time or more, the power supply to the circuit 12 is interrupted. |
