PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ceramic sintered compact which can be manufactured at a low temperature and which is sufficiently densified and crystallized. SOLUTION: When a raw material mainly composed of a ceramic composition in which a hard-to-sinter high temperature phase can be formed from a easy-to- sinter low temperature phase is calcined, the following processes are carried out: a primary heat treatment process for obtaining an intermediate sintered- compact sintered and densified by heat treatment at a first temperature which is higher than the sintering temperature of the low temperature phase and at which the high temperature phase is not formed substantially; a secondary heat treatment process for obtaining a ceramic sintered compact, or the object, by forming the high temperature phase by heat-treating the intermediate sintered-compact at a second temperature higher than the first one. |
