The invention relates to a console. The console consists of two straight consoles which are situated in such a way as to form a continuation of one another, but with a gap between them, each console comprising a self-supporting vertical, metal frame C; C' and a top P; P' supported by this frame and comprising in the said gap a projecting frame extension E; E', the two frame extensions comprising articulation means cooperating in order to constitute, between the frames, a connection permitting a relative pivoting of the frames about a vertical axis, and a locking means being provided for holding the straight consoles in the chosen relative angular position. Application to the facade consoles which are used in the building industry. <IMAGE>
