The yarns produced under this method with the use of linen waste are intended for the production of fabrics and knitted goods for apparel or for domestic, decorative, and technical purposes. The method is characterized by a simplified technological process during which the linen waste with a staple length of 15 mm to 40 mm and an impurities content of 3 to 5% is purified to an impurity content of 1%. The purified linen waste is blended with cotton or cotton-type chemical fibers or with cotton technological waste, which is afterwards purified, opened on a opening and scutching machine for cotton or for cotton technological waste, carded on a cotton card, drafted and doubled, undergoing a preliminary spin, and then ultimately spun into yarn.
