METHOD FOR ANTIMOULDING TREATMENT AND DYEING CELLULOSE TEXTILE MATERIALS

This method offers the possibility for the antimoulding treatment of cellulose textile materials. It allows the materials to be combined during the process of dyeing with cation dyestuffs not previously used for the dyeing of cellulose textile materials. The textile material is padded with an alkali solution of anion antimoulding substance e.g. 2-mercapto, dimethyldithiocarbamate or 2-hydroxybiphenyl - 5 to 60 g per litre followed by the padding with an aqueous acetic acid solution of cation dyestuff - 5 to 50 g per litre and a thermal treatment during 1 - 5 min at temperature of 120-160 degrees C. Cation dyes can be used as dyestuff.
