PURPOSE:To obtain a molded item having a large emboss depth and insusceptible to lowering in mechanical properties, by a method wherein a mixed powder a polyolefin resin and an alpha-olefin copolymer rubber is melted and adhered to the inner surface of a grain transfer mold in the presence of a crosslinking agent. CONSTITUTION:A powder of a mixture which contains a mixed powder of a polyolefin resin and an alpha-olefin copolymer rubber together with a crosslinking agent and, optionally, a crosslinking aid is sprayed to the inner surface of a preliminarily heated, emboss transfer mold 1 by a powder slush molding method, thereby melting the mixture powder, adhering the melted material to the inner surface of the mold 1 and causing crosslinking. The powder bites deep into the inside parts of the grain imparted to the inner surface of the mold 1, and receives the heat of the mold 1, thereby being melted and adhered to the inner surface of the mold 1. Subsequently, the mold 1 is cooled to obtain a thermoplastic elastomer molded item having an embossed surface. |
