PURPOSE:To perform accurate, greatly precise and highly efficient performance check of various automatic original carrier systems, which are mounted, by providing a center CCD image sensor and a pair of side CCD image sensors. CONSTITUTION:To detect the position of a straight line 61, extended in a carrying direction, which is provided at the center of the side on the carrying direction side of a checked original 60 stopped on a contact glass 11, a center CCD image sensor 21 is provided which has the detection area extended perpendicular to the line 61. In addition, to detect the positions of the respective sides of a straight line, extended perpendicular to the carrying direction, which is provided at the side on the carrying direction side of the checked original 60 stopped on the contact glass 11, a pair of side CCD image sensors 31, 41 are provided which have the respective detection areas extended perpendicular to the line 61 in a carrying direction. |
