PURPOSE:To realize a power-off upshift from a racing step at all times by a small speed change shock so as to cope with a multiplex speed change with no trouble, by outputting a speed change command after the lapse of a predetermined time when the speed change command timing is determined by monitoring a rotating speed of a rotary member. CONSTITUTION:When a change from power-on to power-off is provided and further in an upshift during operation of a standby timer T1 for coping with a multiplex speed change, in the case of determining the timing for outputting a speed change command, it is output waiting establishment of a conditional expression by switching a method from that by the timer T1 to that by monitoring a rotational speed of a rotary member. However, even when assumed that the conditional expression is established, a speed change output is generated waiting the lapse of this timer T1 when the waiting time T1 itself is still in operation. In this way, a so-called power-off upshift from a racing step is realized always by a small speed change shock despite a difference or the like of various running conditions and further made possible to well cope with the multiplex speed change. |
