PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method and an ink jet recording device, with which an image excellent in color developing properties and uniformity in color can be obtained in the formation of a color image. SOLUTION: In this ink jet recording method, an anionic or a cationic water- base ink including a coloring material and a water-base liquid composition including fine particles having surfaces charged reversely polarly to the water- base ink under dispersed state are employed so as to represent an achromatically colored portion in an image to be printed with the liquid composition and a plurality of chromatically colored inks.
